Hi friends , Here We will see how to change the icon or logo of setup file. so they can make their setup file stylish and smart.

Sometimes , people want to change icon because they want to give software setup with company logo or self marketing.

Now, we will learn how to change the icon.

To do that just follow steps described with screenshots in following :

Step 1 : Download Resource Hacker Setup

Download Resource Hacker

 Then Go to the Red Bordered link then you have following display on your screen.

Then Click on the download link which is Highlighted in above screenshot and your next screen will be as following :

After Clicking this link You have downloaded Resource Hacker Setup file on your computer Then you have to install it.

Step 2 : Install Resource Hacker on your computer and open it you have following screen

Step 3: Open your Setup file from Menu File ->  Open  and Select your Setup file then you have following screen

After Opening Your Set up file in resource Hacker Double click on Icon To expand it Select 4:1033

Right Click on 4:1033 and select Replace Icon and Select Your Image Which you want to display on setup file.

Here you must need a (.ico) file to change the icon of setup.

Select Your Icon File and Click on Replace.

After Click on replace button Go to File --> Save as and Give your filename and save it.

Now, You have a your setup file with your icon image.
